Ombudsman notice
Draft — not yet in force — requires legal and compliance approval
This document is a placeholder drafted for internal review. It is not legal advice, is not final, and does not yet govern any relationship with Quantari. Final policies will be published before any service becomes available.
Purpose and status
This document is a framework draft prepared for internal review. It describes the role a recognised ombudsman would play in relation to a future regulated service. It is not final, is not in force, and requires legal and compliance approval. No ombudsman affiliation is currently confirmed, and no ombudsman is identified in this draft.
Future affiliation requirement
Before offering any regulated financial service to clients, Quantari intends to affiliate with a recognised ombudsman as required under Swiss financial-services law. Such affiliation would be established as part of becoming authorised to provide the service. [Ombudsman affiliation: pending.]
No ombudsman currently confirmed
Quantari is not currently affiliated with any ombudsman, and none is confirmed or named here. Because no regulated service is offered, no ombudsman procedure is available today. The affiliation details would be stated here once they exist.
Internal complaint escalation
Quantari intends to operate a documented internal complaints process as the first step, so that a client who is dissatisfied can raise a complaint and have it considered before any external step. A separate complaints document describes the intended internal process in draft form.
Mediation and the ombudsman's role
An ombudsman would typically offer a neutral, out-of-court mediation service for disputes that a provider's internal process has not resolved. An ombudsman mediates and facilitates a resolution; it does not act for either party and its role would be described here once an affiliation exists.
Client rights and relationship with civil courts
Recourse to an ombudsman would not remove a client's right to pursue a matter through the civil courts. Mediation through an ombudsman is generally an alternative to, and does not replace, judicial proceedings; a client would retain their legal rights.
Affiliation details pending
The identity of the ombudsman, the scope of its competence, and the procedure and contact details for using it would all be stated here once an affiliation is confirmed. None of these may be assumed or invented in the meantime. [Ombudsman identity and procedure: pending.]
